Manchester City kept up the pressure using a spoonful of Watford although liverpool expanded their perfect start to this season with success at Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola’s side defeat the Hornets 8-0 that are fighting but stay five points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, who won.
While Leicester beat Sheffield United along with Tottenham 2-1 picked up an impressive 2-0 away win at Everton, elsewhere, Manchester United lost 2-0 to West Ham.
Here’s my group of this week have a browse and choose your own below.
Adrian: The Liverpool stand in goalkeeper seems to improve each time I visit him. The save from Tammy Abraham from the game exchanges was good if not as essential as it receives. The keeper then came for a cross and then plucked the ball from the air together with supreme confidence.
It was the first-half functionality that provided the stage to Liverpool to continue and win this match of Adrian. Chelsea, on the other hand, had enough opportunities to develop a point but fluffed their lines.
When not playing well when Liverpool start winning matches it is a bad sign for the remainder of the league.
Did you know? Adrian has not surrendered more than in some of his last nine Premier League looks, finishing on the winning side in eight of these games (one draw).
Ricardo Pereira: When full-backs have a desire for going to the core of the penalty area of the opposition, not only can they catch my eye but I start to take them. Ricardo Pereira is one particular player.
He is not afraid to put himself up for evaluation and daring and quick in the opposing team’s box. He also took his goal well and at a crucial period for Leicester.
As Tottenham; matters that shouldn’t change them easily offend them for. They have experienced more than their fair share of great luck in which VAR is worried and when the technology goes against them they ought to be in a position to fix as fast as when it’s in their favour.
Did you know? Leicester’s Ricardo Pereira scored his third goal in 41 Premier League looks – .
Nathan Ake: The shot of Nathan Ake suspended buried a bullet header and having assaulted a set bit was a film to behold.
It was not only Bournemouth’s first goal in a win against their south coast rivals but a clear sign that business was meant by the Cherries.
I don’t understand what Ake would price to get back him but if I was them I would think about it.
Did you know? Eight of Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake’s 11 Premier League goals are scored in corners, such as seven of his last eight in the contest.
Fabian Schar: it had something from a defender and The chip by Aaron Connolly was a goal that is certain. That moment of magical came.
The clearance off the line could, come the conclusion of the year, be Newcastle along with Steve Bruce’s lifeline.
Did you know? Since the start of last year, Newcastle have won 43 percent of the Premier League games when Fabian Schar has begun (12/28), compared to only 6 percent when he has not (1/16).
Chris Basham: I could have selected anyone in the Sheffield United rear three but I have gone for Chris Basham.
Even the 31-year-old is no spring chicken but if it comes to defenders winning headers, placing his body on the line and staying cool under stress, then he’s the man.
This has been an impressive display by the Blades against an Everton side who seem to have lost their means. When you put players on enormous wages you’re eligible for enormous performances and too many players in blue are not minding their earnings.
Did you know? No Sheffield United player has made more blocks than Chris Basham (four) in the Premier League this year.
James Maddison: Alas we have discovered another player whose initial idea is can I play not and forward sideways or backward. James Maddison is fast making a name for himself as a player who believes of the forward first and not himself.
If Maddison can locate Jamie Vardy onto a football pitch that he will and without a second’s hesitation. I’m sick and tired of all stats that tell me this a midfielder gets the maximum moves when they’ve spent the vast region of the game moving from side to side and backward.
Maddison’s passes can cut via a defence such as a knife through butter and that’s the reason I am convinced this lad can go all of the way. Read about what I have to mention about Maddison at the Crooks of the Issue below.
Did you know? Since netting versus Huddersfield in April, the James Maddison of leicester ended a run of 31 shots from the Premier League with no goal.
Kevin de Bruyne: There was no longer than 60 seconds on the clock and Kevin de Bruyne had delivered Watford their blow.
The ball in the genius for David Silva into side-foot home killed the Hornets stone dead. What followed was complete and total humiliation.
The pass that inflicted this deadly wound was so deliberate and precise that there was not one Watford defender prepared to touch it for fear of putting the ball into his own net.
In reality Craig Dawson was paralysed by the pace and precision of the pass into the six yard area he uttered as though he was struck by the ice-cream! At that point Watford knew the match was finished and it was down into the new’baby-faced assassin’.
Did you know? Considering his Man City introduction in September 2015, Kevin p Bruyne has supplied more Premier League aids than any other player (52).
Bernardo Silva: Generally you can not score a hat-trick and not get in my TOTW but I must declare that the primary reason for selecting Bernardo Silva is because it gives me a few more paragraphs to talk about De Bruyne.
By this time Manchester City have been 6-0 up and rampant while De Bruyne continued to inflict the most brutal passes on the visitors. Silva completed his hat-trick courtesy of yet another deadly missile from De Bruyne who wasn’t just intent on reaping total and total devastation on Watford but determined to lace their defeat using utter humiliation.
Did you know? Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva scored his first ever top-flight hat-trick in what’s his 178th appearance across the English, French and Portuguese top tiers.
Mark Noble: When West Ham beat Manchester United something quite strange tends to be going on.
The Hammers stopped United from winning the title on the final day of the year in 1995; while Carlos Tevez maintained West Ham from the Premier League away at Old Trafford in 2007. What took place at the London Stadium was just spooky.
Mark Noble spearheaded a famous victory from a Manchester United side who looked in disarray and direct by a manager who is starting to look out of his depth.
Whatever opinion you will have for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United is not a club for novices.
Did you know? West Ham have won 47 percent of the Premier League matches when Mark Noble has started beneath Manuel Pellegrini (15/32), compared to only 18% when he has not (2/11).
Roberto Firmino: I think VAR is currently going to be the death of us in the end. Nevertheless, the technology was used by Liverpool in particular to Roberto Firmino and their own advantage.
There is little doubt in my mind that when VAR comes to actions a single team suffers along with another benefits a huge psychological advantage.
While Chelsea were afflicted by VAR’s discovery that Mason Mount’s big toe was offside that the Brazil worldwide took complete advantage of the problem and put the match outside of the Blues.
This was not a timeless Liverpool performance but VAR can’t prevent a group from winning ugly.
Did you know? Roberto Firmino was directly involved in 10 goals in his past 11 Premier League matches for Liverpool, scoring five and assisting five.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Arsenal find themselves in the top four and it’s all down into Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Since his birth at the Emirates he left them palatable and has rescued Arsenal’s often abject performances. Their match against a Aston Villa who appear to be adapting to life at the Premier League, even though it may be a little slow to survive from the Premier League, was bad and they rely much too much on the international.
I have noticed this before when managers utilize strikers as a get the striker’s goals dry up they are the first out the door. Aubameyang is owed by arsenal and if he’s fighting, and he can, give him a little latitude.
Did you know? Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 16 goals in his past 16 matches across all competitions for Arsenal, including in each of the last four games in a row (five goals).
You have seen my choices this season. But who would you go for?

When is a rucksack not a rucksack? When it costs #6,500!
When he had been seen sporting his brand new Louis Vuitton rucksack, james Maddison caused a little stir from the BBC Green Room before this fixture against Spurs. Because we could see everything within 15, the see-through item looked really interesting not least.
I had just arrived in the BBC studios to hear that a galaxy of celebrity pundits. I had just arrived and hearing a carrier bag was picked up by the fuss and requested the pundits what had been wrong with the Leicester and England international using the carrier bag I was holding in my hands?
I admit it did not look sophisticated but it was tough, retained a discretion and was economical. I asked my fellow pundits would Maddison have created the same form of interest had arrived for work at his hands with my carrier bag – much to the entertainment of everyone.
On reflection I think Maddison carrying out a plastic carrier bag with his designer fragrance, particular hair and comb gel could have caused even more controversy.
There is nothing fresh in professional footballers making style statements; nightclubs pay them the money and they’re entitled to spend it anyway they choose. However there’s a price to be paid, so much as the general public is worried, for this type of showmanship and it might prove be costly.
Players who make such announcements have to ask themselves, in the last analysis, is it a price worth paying?
